Jonathan LaPoma’s feature-length black comedy, HARM FOR THE HOLIDAYS, has advanced to the quarterfinals in the 2016 Page International Screenwriting Awards. This is the script’s 4th award/honor in the last month and LaPoma’s 90th overall (including literary awards).
HARM FOR THE HOLIDAYS follows an unrepentant asshole with a heart of gold who moves back in with his comically dysfunctional family a few weeks before Christmas to help his suicidal brother only to find that his brother is the sanest of them all (SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK meets BAD SANTA).
