Jonathan LaPoma’s feature-length black comedy HARM FOR THE HOLIDAYS won 3rd in the Las Vegas Screenplay Contest (comedy category). HARM FOR THE HOLIDAYS is currently ranked 2nd in the GLBT and 9th in the Comedy categories of Moviebytes.com’s Top 10 Contest Winning Scripts, and has won 15 awards/honors in the last year. This is LaPoma’s 118th overall award/honor.
Jonathan LaPoma’s script, THE WAY BACK HOME, is the Grand Jury Prize winner of the 2014 Las Vegas Screenplay Contest. The script he co-wrote with Natalia Porras Sivolobova, LA TIERRA QUE YO AMO (LAND THAT I LOVE), also placed in the contest, winning 1st in the Drama category. LaPoma has won six 1st place victories since September of 2014.
