Jonathan LaPoma and Natalia Porras Sivolobova’s feature-length coming-of-age drama, LA TIERRA QUE YO AMO (LAND THAT I LOVE), won 3rd place in the 2015 Awareness Film Festival. The Awareness Film Festival aims to show “films that do more than entertain.” LaPoma’s script A NOBLE TRUTH won 1st in this competition last year.
