While there, he reminisces about his experiences as a child playing basketball on a city court to escape from emotional abuse, and he understands himself and the theme of his next project more clearly. Jon LaPoma Places Two Scripts in California Film Awards
December 31st, 2015The California Film Awards has awarded Jonathan LaPoma’s scripts THE WAY BACK HOME and LA TIERRA QUE YO AMO (co-written by Natalia Porras Sivolobova) as the 5th place winner and a finalist, respectively, of their 2015 competition. LaPoma’s scripts have won 69 awards/honors in the last two years.
